I think Ive probably made this at least 10 tines in different versions and also made a night dress . One of my favorite patterns ever. Very well designed and easy instructions to follow! Awesome pattern!

  2. lrain1 (verified owner)

I have made two Long sleeve versions of this shirt, I love the neckline it was very easy to do.. this pattern impressed me .. very much, I will be looking forward to making many more of this one. The instructions were clear and easy to follow.

  3. Linda Ross (verified owner)

I am new at making anything besides a skirt or simple top. I followed a tutorial and the directions and couldn’t believe how easy it was. This pattern make me feel like an accomplished sewist.

  4. sorensensremedies (verified owner)

I can’t buy this style in RTW as my bust is too large, and I always end up feeling exposed. This pattern was a fabulous surprise. With the Full Bust Adjustment built into the pattern, I can make this in fabric that flatters me, The directions were simple to follow. I look forward to making many more.

  5. crishdon (verified owner)

I haven’t made this one YET but it is on my sewing table. I Had a top similar to this one (from a store) that had holes in it from wearing it all the time, it’s one of my favs so when I saw this pattern I knew I had to have it.

  6. Toni Mericola (verified owner)

Love this versatile pattern, just what I needed to change things up a bit.

  7. snyder2501 (verified owner)

I haven’t made this pattern yet, but really love the look and versatility. Stay tuned!

  8. Ann Johnson (verified owner)

I made the long sleeve version and over the winter it became my go-to for lounging. The directions were easy to follow. Even with the largest bust size, I still needed to do a FBA, which makes the top fit beautifully.

  9. ELiza (verified owner)

I always love the look of a V-neck top but shy away. This was the perfect pattern to get the V-neck look with even more details. Great pattern!

  10. shazah.sw (verified owner)

This was another Keira inspired purchase for me. The neckline was much easier than anticipated. I’ve only made one dress so far, but have plans to make several more and will try some of the hacks with the sleeves.

  11. Dixie (verified owner)

Love the fit and ease of this pattern. It’s such a versatile top and I love the finished product.

  12. Aine Henderson (verified owner)

Really like the neckline on this very flattering and deceptively simple to do.

  13. mschworer (verified owner)

I love the neckline and the button detail (without the dreaded buttonholes) The top is very comfortable and the fit is flattering-a perfect amount of ease for my taste. The directions were clear and easy to follow. I have been so pleased with my love notions garments!

  14. Vicki Mullis (verified owner)

I have been sewing for over 45 years and have never found patterns that fit so perfectly. I did watch the video on the neck binding because it was different than ones I’d done in the past, but it was so easy!! I see more Breckenridge Henley’s in my future!

  15. janetpayne (verified owner)

I really enjoyed making the Breckinridge Hinley, great directions and very comfortable to wear. Thanks for a great pattern!

  16. karilynpittman (verified owner)

Clear and easy instructions on how to sew a placket.

  17. Josephine (verified owner)

Love this pattern and the placket finishes so clean! 4 stars because the cuffs are so tight I had to add a lot of width and modify the sleeve a bit, this isn’t a normal pattern modification for me with LN patterns, just this one.

  18. Mary Nolte (verified owner)

I love this Henley shirt! I was easily able to extend the placket a little to make it nursing accessible. I already have plans for a few more in long sleeves and a dress length for a nightgown!

  19. Denise (verified owner)

Love the way my Henley turned out! The highest praise came from my daughter wanting me to make one for her!

  20. emilyn78 (verified owner)

what a great pattern, love sewing it. thanks

  21. Lrain (verified owner)

This is I think.. my favourite pattern, I have done sew many already, I also did one without sleeves and will be making many more like it, the last one I did I did the placket all the way to the bottom and wear it buttoned up and open with a tank under… love it!

  22. Sheral (verified owner)

Great pattern! I recently purchased this one. The neckline was easier than I thought it would be. I will be making more for sure.

  23. Kathryn Louisignau (verified owner)

Who doesn’t love a Henley? And this one is so easy. I’ve made several with waffle knits and they come out perfect every time. Added bonus for larger bust, pattern includes a large bust piece. Love how this pattern company includes an option for those with larger busts.

  24. abbott.heather (verified owner)

Love the fun neckline detail! As always great instructions!

  25. Emily Chen (verified owner)

My favorite LN pattern!!! I can’t stop making Breckinridge! Fits well and love the results!

  26. Melissa Spencer (verified owner)

I have made two of these within days of each other. The directions were so clear, I have problems with plackets and the video was amazing.

  27. Deb M. (verified owner)

Don’t be intimidated by the placket detail. I’m a beginner and ended up with professional looking results. There are two great videos: 1. Love Notions Technique, and 2. Lifting Pins and Needles welt technique. Having things work out just adds to the pleasure of making and wearing your Henleys.

  28. Jessica (verified owner)

I made a dress version and a top version and the fit is incredible! I just pulled the pattern out again to make another top. The easy to follow Instructions make this an easy sew.

  29. andrea lazar (verified owner)

This pattern is great!!! I have learnt a lot sewing it, made it many times and every time it is a success ♡♡♡

  30. Susan Wilbur (verified owner)

Great pattern! I’m pretty new to sewing with knits and was a bit nervous about sewing the front neckband/placket. I shouldn’t have been!! It turned out great. I’ll be making lots more henleys in the future.

  31. Kathryn King (verified owner)

A cute pattern with good support for the placket (which is not too tricky). My only quibble is that it is hard to tell which marks go with which sizes on the neckband and front.

  32. Victoria Bennett (verified owner)

This pattern makes the BEST night shirt. I struggle to find longer length with short sleeves in ready made night shirts. I simply lengthened the Breckenridge and used the short sleeves and I have my perfect night shirt. I’ve made 3 already and those won’t be the last.

  33. Sherry Fuerst (verified owner)

Such a great pattern. I love how it fits, how it looks and how clearly the instructions are written. I was afraid of the placket but it wasn’t too tricky. One thing I love about Love Notion patters is that the ambassadors are great. There are many great videos to help you navigate the tricky parts and questions asked on the FB page are answered clearly and quickly. There are also lots of inspiration photos and hacks shared to keep your makes fresh and fun.

  34. DaVerne Wood (verified owner)

This has become one of my favourite, on repeat tops! Don’t let the faux placket concern you. The LN instructions and video make this very easy. I used cotton spandex waffle for both of mine – so comfy & cozy! The Breckenridge will definitely be sewn by me again and again! I am thinking short sleeved for summer and perhaps dress length for a casual look. Put it on your wishlist or better yet, purchase it. You will not be disappointed.

  35. recowan48 (verified owner)

Love Notions continues to amaze me. With minimal number of pattern pieces they design very stylish garments. This is one of them. It looks like it would be difficult to sew in the tab, but the directions are precise and it goes in easily. No problems and no puckers.

  36. joe2peace (verified owner)

This is my first Love Notions patterns that I have sewn and I love it!!! I also love Henleys and this was so easy to whip up. I made the long sleeve dress version and it is so comfy and I received lots of compliments. And did I mention I love the full bust option!!

  37. Veronica Whelan (verified owner)

I bought this pattern because it’s a style I love to wear and I thought it would be a challenge to sew.
I love wearing it, but thanks to the great instructions it wasn’t as challenging as I expected! Love it.

  38. Linda Tukkers (verified owner)

I have sewn my first one. Was a little concerned, but it went al fine. Lovely fit and superb neckline.

  39. Vicki Mullis (verified owner)

My favorite shirt in my closet is a Breckenridge that I hacked into sleeveless. Another winner for LN!!

  40. Patryc Barnes (verified owner)

Currently working on my 2nd Breckenridge. My first is a nightgown but now I am making a light knit short sleeve version for spring/summer. Good pattern with a good video on YouTube to help with the placket.

  41. Lorna Van Steen (verified owner)

I have this pattern ready to sew I know this is going to be one of my go tos looks so comfy and I can’t wait to tackle the neckline that will new to me . Thanks love notion

  42. Caitlin Willis (verified owner)

Brackenridge was my very first placket pattern. I was hesitant but the instructions were so comprehensive and I have loved the results.

  43. Margaret Underhill (verified owner)

I made this from a waffle weave with wooden buttons at the neck. One of my favourite makes. I had to adjust the length quite a bit but I am a petite size. Great pattern, easy sew with instructions that gave a really good result.

  44. Megan Harvey (verified owner)

I love this pattern! I’ve used it for shirts for work, and also for Christmas pjs! The neckline is so easy to sew.

  45. vh_scott (verified owner)

Great top! I like the added style that the button band adds, without having to line up button holes. I’ve made it in rib and really liked it, and am looking forward to trying more fabrics with it!

  46. violentlyserene (verified owner)

I had trouble with the placket because I questionably chose to do my first one in a thin waffle but it turned out well.

  47. janamonin (verified owner)

Such a comfortable, and pretty top. I have never liked henley tops on me, and felt too daunted by the placket to ever want to sew one… until now! The gentle sweetheart shaping is feminine, and the placket was much more doable than I imagined it would be doing it the Love Notions way! An added plus was not having need ing to make button holes on the placket if I didn’t want to!

  48. lrain1 (verified owner)

I love this pattern, I am looking forward to making the dress this summer. I have made a few more of this tops and this will be one of my patterns that gets made…. Often.

  49. Lenore Baker (verified owner)

I love this pattern! I have made several Breckenridge tops. I have made a few long sleeve as tops and a couple short sleeve with Luna Lounge wear shorts as PJ’s. It’s very easy to sew!!!

  50. DaVerne Wood (verified owner)

The Breckenridge Henley is my favourite LN pattern (so far!). I sewed two in cotton lycra waffle and they are so comfortable and look great. I plan on making more Breckenridges – a dress for summer – such a great, casual look! This may appear to be a difficult pattern because of the Henley neckline, but it is definitely not. The Breckenridge Henley is a well-designed pattern with easy instructions as well as a video to assist with the neckline.

  51. jeri59834 (verified owner)

A great pattern to sew up! I used a French terry fabric, and it fits great. Very good instructions and not a difficult sew.

  52. Marla Ripps (verified owner)

I love henley style shirts. The instructions for the Breckenridge are very easy to follow making this a very easy henley to make. I with my next one I will need to tweak a bit in the waist and hip area as it is a bit big and baggy in that area, which I know happens sometimes with the full bust option. Other that that I know I will be making several of these in the future.

  53. Sherry Fuerst (verified owner)

I wear my Breckenridge henleys all the time as they are a favorite. I made T’s forever because I was afraid to try new stuff but this is easy and fun. I see many more in my future!

  54. heathersewist (verified owner)

I love the shape of this neckline! I’ve made 2 long sleeved versions – one in cotton ribbing and one in cotton waffle knit, both with ribbing for the cuffs and neckband.
