I made my first pair of jeans!! And they fit!!! I was always too intimidated to make pants with a fly front but it was quite simple – I just took it step by step. I love the topstitching and rivet details. On my next pair, I want to try some decorative stitches on the back pockets. Great pattern, Love Notions!

Have always wanted to make some jeans & after reading all the positive reviews I thought I would give them a try.
I loved the whole process, following the very good instructions, doing a zip fly & especially the top stitching. On the whole very rewarding, and they are a great fit.
I have now made 2 pairs

Woohoo! ???? This pattern made one of my dreams come true. I made real jeans with rivets and topstitching. They fit and look great. My daughter said, “Wow, Mom, they look legit!” So I made two more and have more fabric waiting to become number 4. I purchased the class also. Very helpful.

I’m new to Love Notions Patterns, but not to sewing. The instructions in these patterns are easy to
follow. Installing the zipper was a breeze per their directions. This pattern is well thought out. Measurements are right on. I really like that they give different inseams for different types of bodies.

Made my first pair of legato jeans and they fit great! The fly sewing is one of the easiest I’ve used!

I’ve always wanted to make myself jeans. I tried the Legato pattern and fell in love. My first pair of jeans and they fit well. I was shocked. Jeans don’t have to be difficult to make. I would highly suggest you try this pattern. I will definitely be making more jeans in the future.

I just love this pattern so much. I have made 3 already and my latest one is the one that fits the best. The first 2 I made were not the correct fit for me, but this was entirely my own fault. I made the tall pattern even though I am fit into the standard size, the length was perfect for me, but the rise was too long. The 2nd pair I used the standard pattern and it fit perfectly all over, but was not long enough for my liking (once again nothing to do with the pattern, completely the nut behind the sewing machine. The latest pair are by far the best ones and the only adjustments I made was the length as I do not like ankle length jeans (which is the design of this pattern). I am going to be making another pair soon with a slightly stretchier denim as I prefer having a little more give than the previous pair. As a rule all LN pants patterns seem to suit my figure well and I don’t really have to make any adjustments. I definitely recommend this jeans pattern

Really pleased with the pattern and video. Got a great fit, ready to make more. I like than I can go back to the video and watch the instructions again if I get stuck

I purchased the Legato Jeans pattern along with the tutorial once I decided to try to sew my first pair of jeans. I really like all the detailed information I was provided to purchase all my supplies including fabric. My first pair was easy except the zipper because I was using a zipper that I trimmed, and I mistakenly derailed the zipper after sewing the zipper fly., but this had nothing to do with the instructions or tutorial. I was extremely impressed with the design and how they really looked like ready to wear jeans after I was finished. I have sewn a total of three pairs in different fabrics and this will be a staple in my wardrobe.

I love my Legato jeans! I topstitched shears on the back pockets. The straight fit, flat butt and tall options were perfect for me.

Sewing this pattern was my first experience sewing pants for myself. I used the course to guide me, and I could not be happier with how they turned out. I love wearing them, and can’t wait to sew more. This experience has also given me confidence to try sewing other pants patterns in the LN collection. The sewing course was excellent, too five starts for both the course and the pattern!
