What a great pattern. I made the regular leggings with the hidden pocket and contour waistband. I know my butt (or lack thereof) well enough to take 1″ off the back inseam at the crotch, but with that adjustment, they fit me as if the pattern was made for me. And the hidden pocket is perfect for my phone.

Excellent fit and really comfy. Easy to sew. I had a senior moment or two regarding the pdf but a quick email to Tami and within minutes I was sorted. Made these in a medium weight sweatshirt type material ( yoga straight leg with pockets). Yoga waistBand didn’t work in my fabric as it didn’t have enough stretch so I used a rib knit and added wide elastic for security. Also added a little band For length as my fabric shrank a touch during washing but I thought it would and hadn’t hemmed them first so it was fine. Very true to size. Thought this might be a not brilliant pattern as it was so affordable during the Friday discount offer but I couldn’t haven more wrong. Really pleased and will make more.

Love love love and hope to make more. I’m a pretty beginner sewer but directions were easy to follow and I ended up with joggers I’m excited to wear. I used French Terry for the main fabric and rib knit for the waistband, ankles, and pockets and it’s perfect.

These bottoms are so comfortable and there are so many options. I’ve made leggings and joggers and lounge pants. The instructions are easy to follow and easy to adjust for your body. I love the back yoke and how it fits and looks. I’ve even made leggings using a coordinating fabric in the yoke for a fun design feature. These are great bottoms and especially for beginners to have a pants success.

This is such a satisfying project. Love Notion pattern directions are always very detailed. My finished pants are the best fitting thing I’ve ever made!

This is the project I wear the most. I used a triblend knit with DBP for the waistband. They’re perfect lounging pants and the fit is perfect. This will probably be my go-to pant pattern. I think a stable knit would make for a work appropriate pant, too

We love this pattern. It is simple to make yet looks amazing! Pants can seem intimidating but this pattern is not.

This is an awesome fitting pattern. I did the contoured yoke with elastic in the seam and it is extremely comfortable and flattering.

I’m planning to make these next weekend. I read through the instructions and they are easy to follow. I can’t wait to get started!

This is the first pair of pants that fit me. I followed the guide given to measure, then followed the instructions and it was awesome I made a second, third and forth pair, then I got my courage up to go formal and went over to the duet trousers!

Midway though making my third pair. The first two I made in one weekend. They look great and once you have the pattern cut, they come together pretty quick.

Made in the right fabric, next to a major athleisure brand’s jogger, pretty hard to tell which one is made by me! I the only alteration I make is on length.

Recently made these as maternity pants and I’m in love! I just sized up one on the waist for the yoga pants and they have been awesome. Can’t wait to make more!

Love this easy to use pattern. I have made several of these and find they fit well with modifications due to my height.

I made a couple iterations of the joggers, one in heavy cotton lycra and one in stretch velours. I should have made yoga pants, because in retrospect I’m not fond of the cuffs, but I appreciate the many options. Basic fit was ok, even though there was some really strange angle action at knee level, possibly a problem only with larger sizes? I very much like the contour waistband though, I reinforced with a thin clear elastic on top but it’s both comfortable and secure enough. Note that I messed up a bit, I chose to run the velours nap going up to get a deeper color visually, and the effect is that the pants creep up when I’m sitting down – so don’t do as I did and run your nap going down!

My second and thirs garments ever. My Mum needed but couldn’t find the joggers she wanted but as soon as I made her a first one, she asked for a second one, which is to me the sign of a success! Great pattern, easy to understand and to follow. I never thought I could do pattern so soon on my sewing journey. Thanks Love Notions ! 🙂

This is the only casual knit trouser pattern I need! I’ve made a tapered leg version with contoured waistband, and a bootleg version with yoga waistband, and both are great. The pockets add a really lovely element to all the styles, and I look forward to making more!

Such a great pattern. I love that I can make a pair to lounge around in and a pair to dress up in.

  18. Deanne Dexter (verified owner)

I raise the rise on these, tho I’m 5’2″ for my comfort with a wide yoga band. Definitely want to try in stretch denim like the blog post

  19. Kathryn King (verified owner)

A real winner: so comfortable, well-fitting AND flattering. I’ve struggled with other popular legging patterns to fit my full thighs, but no problems here. It was easy to grade waist to hip, and there is no binding, pinching or sliding, which is kind of like a miracle. Yoga pants are so flattering, too–making this middle-aged body look almost trim!

  20. Holly Wagoner (verified owner)

This is my #1 go-to pattern for making bottoms for lounge sets, because it fits so well on the many different body types that I’ve sewn for. It’s a wonderfully drafted pattern, the design details make this one a great value as well, with so many variations. I also feel the same way about the Leggins for kids…I have made countless little under-the-dress shorties for the littles. Love Notions is such a reliable & stylish pattern company!

Great pattern. I’ve made 3 pairs of yoga pants, 2 pairs of joggers and a pair of leggings from this pattern. I’ve tried other pattern brands but this one fits brilliantly. I usually do the yoga waistband option but have done the contour waistband as well. The pattern is good value at full cost but the feature Friday option is extra brilliant value when it comes up. It’s so affordable you might think there’s a catch but no catch, excellent pattern.
