I’m a fan of Love Notions patterns but the jury is still out
right now. I’m making rompers for my daughter-in-laws. Even after cut pockets out twice and I ended up recutting without pockets because I couldn’t get them to lay correctly. Maybe it’s the fabric but I’m holding my breath until they can try them on. We’ll see how it all plays out.

At 61, I wasn’t sure I could rock a romper, but thought the Sunday Romper was adorable. I threw caution to the wind this weekend and purchased the pattern. I made my first one today and now I’m shopping the stash to make some more! Another great pattern!

The Sunday romper is one of my favorite summer time outfits. I live the double v-neck and the simple beauty of this pattern that allows it for a dressier look or a casual easy look.

Inspired by makes on the FB group, I purchased this pattern and am now awaiting fabric. So many options included in the pattern. The instructions are detailed for me as a beginner in describing why & how to amend to ensure a good fit. Can’t wait to get sewing.

I love the Sunday romper! I really wanted to try a romper but I am in my early 30s post two kids and I wasn’t sure it would flatter my “mom-tummy.” But it was so easy to adjust the pattern for a great and flattering fit. I even wear it with a blazer for work!

I’m a new sewer especially for garments so I was a little nervous to make this. I shouldn’t have been as the instructions are beginner friendly. I made a few mistakes, totally operator error, but nothing too bad. And I made a great romper that I love wearing!

This is my favorite sewing pattern. It has so many options, and can be hacked in so many fun ways. The fit is SUPER flattering for apple shaped ladies like myself. All this and it is very easy to assemble the pattern pieces and sew. You will not regret purchasing this pattern.

The Sunday Romper has become one of my favorite patterns for the dress option. I have made 4 for myself, and another 2 for my niece. What I like about the pattern is the way it fits. I am a teacher and need to feel comfortable all day long. This pattern is the ultimate comfort. I have paired mine with white tennies, flip flops, and nice sandals. It all depends on the type of fabric you are using. I have even changed the neckline for a scoop just to change it up. I have no regrets buying this pattern and I plan on making more! Thanks for a great pattern!

I was hesitant to add this to my pattern stash because of the v neck, but in true Love Notions style, the instructions and video made it enjoyable. I also loved the straight forward construction of the elastic waist. Another winner!

This pattern works out so well! Super comfortable, dressy, casual, so versatile! I love how easy this was to put together and how great it looks on nearly any body type! I chose to use a Bullet Liverpool and it looks great! Instructions are always easy to follow with great diagrams and intuitive directions! Thank you for another great pattern!

I’m almost 70 and have never warn or sewn a romper before but now have made the short dress and the long romper. I love it. Easy to sew and looks great. The links for extra help really helped.

I was hesitant to try this pattern because though attractive, it’s hard to get rompers/jumpsuits down to use the restroom. Have no fear, the Sunday Romper makes it easy while looking great. Made it in a medium weight terry that is cozy and comfortable. A long version is in the works.

Could I give this pattern 10 stars? I make 2 & worn them out over the summer! I wore this one while in a pumpkin patch, as seen here – https://www.instagram.com/p/CTNMY0JrZXb/

Can’t wait for the weather to warm up so I can wear the dress I made from this pattern. So comfy and so easy to wear.

Love this Maxi-dress with Dolman Sleeves. I ran some quarter-inch elastic into the v-neck collar to keep it from plunging too deeply and I changed the back neckline more like a crewneck t-shirt for modesty purposes. The lightweight cotton knit knit that I chose approximates t-shirt fabric. This makes a perfect summer dress or poolside cover-up.

I really enjoyed making this pattern! I have never really worn rompers, but after making the Sunday Romper, I will be making many more. The pattern was quick, the instructions were very easy to follow, and it fits amazing.

I’m not big on rompers, so I made the dress version. Originally I intended it to be a swim cover-up but it’s just so flattering and cute I wear it as a dress more often.
michellekwallace (verified owner) –
I made the longer legs version in a cotton spandex knit and wear it as loungewear. So so comfortable! Both my adult daughters wanted some too so I made them the shorts version. Easy to make with clear instructions. Recommended.

I love this pattern. I’ve made 3 of these and they are so comfy. I don’t know why I have been in a jumpsuit mood recently, but this pattern really helped.

I’ve only tried the dress version so far but I love it

I love this romper. I made it to wear to my granddaughter 21st birthday. I made it in a red flowered print double brushed poly. Was concerned that it would be too hot for our Florida weather but it was perfect. It feels so comfortable like I’m wearing my pjs out. The style is very flattering and easy to get on and off. The directions were super easy to follow. Looking forward to making a pool coverup that can go beyond the pool.

I have made two of these. The first one I thought would be too short as I am 5’10” so I added a few inches according to the adjustment directions and it was so much longer than I prefer for a romper. However, I still wear it regularly haha. The second one I made with not adjustments and it’s perfect. Love the Love Notions directions as they always make things so approachable, even my first knit v neck.

I live this pattern as a knit jersey dress. It feels so comfortable, like a cool night gown I can wear to church. (Smiles)
I am ready to try it as an actual romper. The fit and pockets of the dress are perfect.
