Easy to follow instructions for both knit and woven. The style is unique and comes together nicely.

I love how there are pattens pieces for both knit and woven, making it extra versatile! That showstopper v-neck is my favorite part. I can’t wait to make a top version for my wardrobe.
Lisa Smith (verified owner) –
Very easy sew & excellent directions. I sized according to the pattern and it fits perfectly!

I love this pattern! Super cute and so easy.

I love this pattern so much! Great instructions (videos for any of the slightly tricky parts) and such a versatile dress or top. I’ve made 3 dresses and 2 tops with plans for even more!

I love this pattern – it’s easy to sew, has an awesome V-neck, and is comfortable. I’ve made three so far and always get a lot of compliments

Just bought this pattern can’t wait to cut it out and try it!!!!!
Thanks for the sale. Happy Mother’s Day!

So far this is my favorite Love Notions pattern! It is a very flattering style, and works with two very different types of fabric so far. The instructions are easy to follow. I’ve made two in the shirt length, and considering a dress next!

Just purchased this one and hope to use it next week for those left over pieces that done have enough space for a separate sleeve and I already have enough tank styles.
Rachel McCarty (verified owner) –
I like that this pattern can be used for both knits and wovens! The neckline is beautiful and I like the look of the sleeves too.
Gail Glaneman (verified owner) –
Followed recommended sizing and was thrilled with the fit. Nice flow, no gaping, and since the full-bust-adjustment was built in, I could use the pattern immediately. Ready to cut out two more now!
Stacey Gambetti (verified owner) –
WOW, I love that this Vivace Dolman comes together easily, even for a beginner. I love that I can get different looks by changing from knits to wovens. Thanks LN 🙂

First time using a Love Notions pattern and only second time sewing for myself, so I was really pleased at how well this top went together. The instructions for the v-neck were easy to follow (although why are the pieces referred to as facings in the pattern pieces and lining in the instructions?). Will definitely be making more of these tops.

Awesome pattern. The fit is perfect and it sews up like a dream. Well worth the investment!!

This top is so great, but it really matters what fabric you use. I’ve tried it in fabrics that I thought had plenty of drape and the pleat just didn’t lie nicely over my belly. It needs the drapiest fabric to work well and when it’s right it’s SO right!

The Vivace Dolman is a great beginner to advanced beginner pattern. The pleat took a little fussing but turns out great and leaves you with confidence to make again. I used a medium knit with drape and love it. The next one I try I want to extend the sleeve length for winter.

A flattering fit with great directions – looks great!

I love this pattern but fabric choice is key. It’s a lower V neck than I usually wear, but it doesn’t gape or hang open, so it’s great. Easier to make than it looks, and a pattern I’ll make again.

I have made 2 of the Vivace tops, both woven and knit were easy to sew. Very happy. I think the woven version (Cumbria crepe) sewed up as a looser fit than the knit version (Manhattan Scuba Crepe).

First LN pattern and first projector pattern. To get a more structured look, I shortened this top considerably to high hip length and left off the cuffs. I also added a tiny bust dart. Turned out great!
angela919 (verified owner) –
This pattern looks great, I have made two, one in a viscose and one in a very slippery fabric. Everything sewed up beautifully and easily, will definitely be making more.

I have seen a few designs like this in the shops from tops to dresses so when I saw this I thought I had to give it a go.
I had some woven fabric so used that. Came out ok but I’m wondering if a jersey would look better with it being more fluid

This was my first Love Notions pattern I made… It was a success! My partner didn’t notice I made it, he was surprised and admired, my sister in law and cousin loved it to bits! I made it in a flowy flowary jersey and felt so pretty, confortable (even my belly was less visible!) and proud of me wearing it! I’ll test it soon also with a woven fabric. Definitely I rate it 5 and push anyone to buy it.

My favourite dress from LN. I made this in a printed chambray and wear it almost every week. It comfortable and easy to wear anywhere. I have made a couple of tops but the dress version is spot on.

I’m new to sewing clothing, and this pattern was a fantastic place to start! Between the detailed instructions from printing and assembling the patter to cutting and sewing the top, my very first muslin was a success! The member of the Facebook group is very informative and supportive, both the members affiliated with Love Notions AND the ones who aren’t. Fabulous pattern with fantastic support!

I love the subtle v-neck of this style!

I love a versatile blouse pattern that lets you use either knit or woven fabric. I kept seeing this blouse in all the RTW stores and loved it, Then I saw the LN pattern Vivace and couldn’t wait to make it. The fit is great and I love it made up in soft fabrics. Very attractive, and love it in the summer —- so cool. I am going to make it into a dress next.

Cute top/dress and so easy to sew. I love how mine turned out.

This is the first love notions pattern I made & I love it. I did one in a knit, very straight forward. I did another in a double gauze woven. I had to take that one in a bit seemed to be too big, it may have been the fabric choice. Both are very comfortable to wear.
christinemoore38 (verified owner) –
Perfect knit top. Such an addition to my wardrobe. It was an easy sew. Great instructions.

I have made a couple in woven material, this was the first Love Notions pattern I sewed and I love the style and ease of wearing for work. I’m a yoga pants and hoodie kind of gal that has to dress up for work but I really don’t want to be uncomfortable and this pattern fits the bill me. I love that I can make it in a knit as well.
robine_30 (verified owner) –
I LOVE the neckline on this! It’s beautiful and intriguing and goes together more easily than it looks.
laurapletschrivera (verified owner) –
I wasn’t sure how this style would look on me as I generally wear more fitted tops, but I really wanted to learn how to do the v-neck pleat detail and I’m glad I did! Fun to learn new skills and it looks pretty alright!
michelle.fisk (verified owner) –
This was a great pattern! Very easy to sew. I made it with a light weight chambray and received many compliments!

I’ve made a woven dress and top so far and love this pattern

I just adore this pattern. I have made 2 dresses. Followed Karina’s up sew close. Easy to follow, excellent pattern

This is the first woven top I ever sewed. Great instructions and a comfortable, breezy summer top!

Lovely pattern. Fits and looks as promised. Lots of tutorials from affiliates that are helpful, particularly Karina Trinidad. This is now one of my staples. Definitely a recommended pattern from a fabulous family company.

This was one of the first LN patterns I bought and tops made from it are going to be a staple in my wardrobe (I live in a climate that is hot and muggy nine months of the year). Although I’ve yet to sew the first, I have bought at least twelve different fabrics (mostly lightweight knits/jerseys and some gorgeous lightweight linen) while waiting for my sewing space to be set up. The sew along videos, tutorials and the LN ambassador blog posts are very helpful as well. So inspired and excited to use LN patterns to replace clothes that have gotten too big.
